Dubai hotels brush off concerns over JBR mall

Another example of greed in Dubai, a shopping mall in an area where there is a very narrow strip for cars in an area where the quantity of buildings with apartments and hotels doesn't match the urban to be size for the already built roads. Also what about the beach space for the area residents? and what about for the people that had purchased them flats with view to the beach and sea that will have a mall right in front of them balcony?, it is clear, make money at any cost....

The developer states that extensive reserach has been done. I doubt this very much as in my opinion why build another Mall complex less than a kilometer away from the already exisiting Marina Mall. Marina Mall shops are not completely populated. I don't see the logic in this new Mall at JBR....greed then again transcends everything.

I personally believe its awsome idea,,, i understand its not a mall but a retail extention. Property Value will increase as its going to finish same time as tram in JBR. Those who see this as negitive are narrow minded. There are only handful properties that are having some development after recession. JBR owners should be proud of this...

so many bad ideas ... as someone stated, Marina mall is just 1 mile away and half empty ... and I am optimistic! anybody going on the walk these days will find out that all the shops and restaurants are quite empty as well .... so another mall in Marina??? makes no sense to me ... Malls are OK but people in Marina go to MOE or Marina Mall ... and you go to the Mall by car ... where will the people park in such a congested area?? crazy ... and right now the place is a total mess ...
