I had the pleasure of working with Murugan during my 2 years at Hilton Kuwait as Executive Chef. I got to know him as a young and ambitious Chef with solid foundations in his trade, focused on hygiene, people oriented person that motivates always looking to develop the potential of each one together with his outgoing personality and customer relation skills; displaying great adaptability and resilience. He is a true inspiration, a well-balanced Chef, calm and composed demeanour, hands on, leading by example, quite energetic, creative and very passionate about culinary, positive attitude always displaying professionalism and perfection in anything he set his mind too, communicative and straight forward in his judgements about potential products and business opportunities, his knowledge on food and attention to details was second to none. I believe Chef Murugan exhibits many of the qualities that are essential to Industry Managers and Future Executive Chefs.

It is pleasure to have Chef Murugan nominated I had a pleasure to be with him when he was with Hilton Dubai Jumeirah. Chef Murugan has lot of hidden quality and I am proud for him that the in nominated. Congratulation.

We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Murugan at Hilton Fujairah in 2011 and were impressed by his knowledge and passion in producing such wonderful cuisine. Subtilty of flavours combined with excellent presentation and consistency. All of this has brought us back to Hilton Fujairah for another holiday in 2012 and we will be back in 2013. We add our congratulations.

Chef Murugan is very accountability, creative & humble person. I worked with him for almost six years at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah. He is trully a person who is very strong at his leadership skill, look after his team, passionate about his job & service, ensuring that the business comes first and humble person. One thing which I still remember was about very strong in cost control however he ensured that no impact on the quality. You just give the task to him, he will make happened. I wish that he can be the winner of this hotelier award 2012.
