Taj Mahal replica firm in talks with operators

Does'nt any one think that Dubai has replicated enough in the last 8-10 years and it's time they came up with an original idea to attract tourism, like they did once. The Royal Mirage is an good example of originality. It is ridiculous to replicate a historical and majestic monument like the Taj Mahal. It is an infringement of all the rights that the original stands for. Everything in this world is not judged by how many people voice their opposition to it, like Mehra says, but its a matter of simple right and wrong. And to replicate the Taj Mahal is wrong and the sad part is an Indian is advocating and supporting the idea. I strongly feel that the Indian government should initiate strong legal action against those planning to build this replica and there should be an international consensus that every such monument is the sole right to only the land that it belongs to and no such replicas should ever be allowed.

I wish to see this soon, it would be an amazing place to attract tourism & a lot of FDI to Dubai. The Taj Mahal in India is not a place to say prayers. its actually the mausoleum mumtaz Mahal w/o Great Emperor Shah Jahan. The Original Taj Mahal will remain as one of the wonders in the world.Even if you make 100 Taj Mahal around the world its value will remain the same.

I feel that recreating historical monuments is not ethically right. I wonder if the Indian legal system may stop this from happening. Why would a builder take on the curse of rebuilding a monument which hold such religious significance!
