Disgusting that this poor woman has to be put through such hell because of the curropt legal system of the hotel giving back handers to try to brush this under the carpet! She won't be silenced and niether will the people of the UK be silenced! We will make sure that the hotel will get the credit it gets...none that's what! They are a bunch of rats and for them to offer her ?17,000 is a joke, that isn't even a years wage, has your country seen the pictures of her in hospital? I myself would never go to that hotel and i'll make sure i'll spread the word for people to be wary of going to that hotel! Make sure you're prepared to fight a lifetime legal battle if you are injured in the hotel as a result of shoddy workmanship...yeah...that's what you wanna hear when you go on holidays to Abu Dhabi!

Poor lady, no one should be subjected to this negligence, Please do not be fooled by the Buildings of the fancy hotels, it is the companies who run such hotels what to just charge the owner a lot of money and kill the cost of the operation in order to come with a fat sum of money return to the Head office.the court should neigh the operating company without mercy, because making profit is more important than the human.I recall when i audited one of the big towers in Cairo, i found that the 5 star Hotel with the french GM did not have a hygiene officer for more than one year, the poor owner dose not know, can you imagine how could 10 restaurants in the hotel operate without the HASAP, or ISO 22000. again it is an international operator who run that Hotel on the Nile. Again if was the arbitrator i would put forward more than that sum and the operating company should foot the bill not the owning company by far.The Ministry of tourism in Abu Dhabi is a conscious Government body and should re evaluate the big international companies once more. They should have a more involved role even in the procedure of the operators system, and should attract capable personnel to keep an eye on these companies.

Shocking, just shocking. This woman is now back in intensive care. It is tantamount to indirect torture on behalf of the corporations responsible. Eventually they will be charged with manslaughter I am certain. Such a tragic situation.
