probably the most pointless new rule ever introduced in 2013 by 1 emirate, purpose? control! why? no specific reason! Result? Putting business in trouble and making people's life more difficult.

Well, UAE is famous to introduce pointless policies time by time, this new policy will definitely effect the business. And this policy is pointless, of no use and with no common sense

Border point between Dibba Al Hisn-UAE & Dibba Al Baia- Oman has no passport check point. The requirement of sponsor's consent for female residents in UAE is a precautionary measure because resident will emerge outside UAE without a border and outside of UAE authority range. Tourists on a visit visa wanting to go to Musandam will not receive a stamp in their passports. This is for their convenience because UAE laws state, that a visit visa will be cancelled once the tourist exits UAE Borders. Means tourists will be able to go to Dibba Al Baia in Sultanate of Oman & reenter UAE
