Erwin deservedly won Concierge of the Year from DTCM and WAFI a few years ago as he proved himself to be efficient, knowledgeable and personable. He is an asset to lead any Concierge Team as he continues to prove his ability to deal with any guest query effectively. He is a great ambassador for Clef d'Or and the hospitality industry.

There is a lot of People who work in hotel but very few of them we can call them hotelier and I strongly believe that Mike is one of them, his unique attitude and personality makes him one of the best hotelier I ever met. He is role model for his co-worker and as proof that he didn?t just won the head concierge of the year moreover he leaded his team to won the best concierge team 2012 and the concierge of the year 2012, he is willing to create more hoteliers which will be beneficiary for hotel industry specifically in concierge field. I have no doubt that he can be the best representative for the Middle east concierge.

Mike mekonnen from Radisson Royal Hotel Dubai deserves to win concierge of the year from DTCM He is a great colleague who is friendly and active, who shows attention to details and carries the Yes I Can! spirit. The way he welcomes the guest, listens to their questions and recommends is exceptional. He is also a great leader who is worth it.he is knowledgeable supportive and very professional.

Mike is the man with strong personality and his approach is so pleasing that anyone will just keep listening to his talks. His explanation to any subject is with so minute details that the guest will definitely enjoy listening. He is calm, well-mannered, bright, and smart and not to forget, he is very patient and understanding. He is like a true guide and also very supportive and motivating. Guests just love and admire his lovely smile. Mike has that inherent quality to serve others and I feel that service is his religion. I thank god that he came along my way and I got a chance to work with him and learn many things which I will cherish all my life. I wish him all success in life and may god give him more power to serve people always.

Mike is really a great person with alot of skills.since i start working with him i loved concierge .He is very optimistic person and he always gives the people around him the energy to work and to be Hospitable.He has a wide knowledge and still he is searching and studying about concierge because he believes that everyday there is something new to discover.The happiness and satisfaction of the guest is a must for him and to give new information to somebody is a hobby.He strongly deserves to win this year Middle East Award.

It?s with great pleasure and joy to hear the news from one of my favorites that I ever met in my work life. It says he has been short listed to be one of nominees of Best concierge of the gulf region. A name of a humble and very talented person called Mekonnen Getachew(Mike). I don?t know where I can start, but I believe this few words will motivate and impress him in this exciting time. When the time I joined Hotel JAL Tower as a pre-opener in 2010 I met Mike as my direct supervisor and until now I?m continuing with him as one of direct reports in Radisson Royal Hotel. For the past 3 years I found Mike as a unique pearl in a deep ocean where he is shinning in every aspect and quantity of work that he is suppose to do by him own. The way how he handles his staff is much tremendous. Mike was a true human being to understand a person(guest) and specially his staff to have positive way of thinking and a special way of motivation that give them the energy to their day of work. Mike had a beautiful way of attracting each and everyone with his charming smile where anyone will be addicted in to it. Every moment Mike had his professionalism in his entire body where he could face any challenge with most of the work related area. Being the Best Chief Concierge of the year 2012 in Dubai, Mike proved himself that is one of the best.
