Qatar World Cup to attract one million visitors

That the World Cup, is the biggest event worldwide, and that will attract millons of visitors and thousands of millons to the TV, that's a fact. Why Qatar won the bid for the World Cup is highly controversial, this we must all agree on. but what's done is done. It is due to this very same reason reason that Qatar should massivly avoid having such a bad publicity in the media with this human rights issues and to stop giving the image that just money (which they have in surplus) can solve all issues. There is a cultural issue to this sport event which is linked to many different leasures which Qatar is not ready to accept (alcohol, women, free demonstration, etc). I'm not sure if the Qatar organisation thought through all this issues and the conflicts (with their own culture) that it will bring with it, or maybe it is just the prestige of hosting such an event, but one thing is for sure: The city which will profit the most of this event will be Dubai. Basically no investement for this event, infrastructure already in place (thanks to the 2020 Expo), extensive freedom for western visitors, and just 1hour away from the place where it will take place. Money is needed, no doubt about this, but the image a country gives to the puiblic, decides (at least for western people) on whether they will come and stay in Qatar, or just hop over to see the matches and spend their money in the UAE.
