My instinctive comment has to be sensational ! I can still taste the soup on my first visit to Rare. None have matched it since! He is a quietly commanding force at Desert Palm. His influence carries throughout the property. Lional is a true professional from his role in the kitchen to the his presence in the restaurant talking to the guests. He obviously finds his life with food a pleasure that transmits through to everyone.

In Vienna I was working together with chef Liang Ming Yeh in the best Asian fusion restaurant in town. In my postion I had as Service manager and him as Sous chef I really have to say that it is a successful and amazing experience to work together with Liang. He is not only a perfectionist in his art, he copes with all the Team members and guests in one of the most professional way you can ever imagine. His speciality fills a wide range of different cuisines worldwide. He is detailed, eager and shares his knowledge with everybody in order to have the best results in guests experience. Liang is a master in his art as well as wonderful person!

simply in awe! liang ming yeh-chef of the year i could'nt agree more with each bits and comments posted, the taiwanese beef noodles soup, two words "mind blowing", chef liang has been nothing but a true warrior in the kitchen, fighting ingrdients and coming out as victors at the end of it, straight to our plates, simply pleasin our palates, still in awe with all his whips, truely in awe, fascinating!

It's a pity that Liang Ming Yeh left Austria because i lost my favorite chef. His cuisine was always superb and he is a marvelous person.

Chef Liang has really made an impact in the hotel with his culinary expertise. He is a great team player and a great team leader. He deserves, by all standards, to be the Chef of the Year.
