While the main practice in the hotel industry scene in Abu Dhabi is lavish hotels introduced through a franchise or a management contract, and GM's come to direct an already established and positioned household brand. Richard Haddad was able to create,develop,position and create a brand awareness of a leading hotel in Abu Dhabi i.e. Vision Hotel. With his educational background and well established experience Richard took the challenge of creating rather then following manuals which definitely allow him to be the GM of the Year.

Richard is a brilliant and remarkable manager. His hospitality during my stay in Vision was second to none.He leads his team so that every guest feels at hoem. I strongly recommend him for this award.

Over my stay of a few months Richard has sown leadership qualities which make him in my opinion Manager of the Year, whether dealing with his customers and staff in a manner which makes everyone feel good, resoling roblems for us and really makng us feel welcome - he knew the names of my team wihin a fewm days and was able to contribute actively to our stay. For that alone we will be recommending our staff to stay at the vision when visiting abu dhabi.
