It is a privilege and an honor to work alongside Chadi in, probably, one of the most exquisite and exigent Italian dinning experience in Jeddah. Chadi brought BiCE at the highest point in the market leading an efficient, elegant and skillful team that harmonizes the fine dining experience of the European restaurants with warm hospitality of the Arab culture. Chadi succeeded on creating a full dining experience by introducing a ?Wine menu? to match the magnificent high food quality, generating a very loyal clientele. Chadi, keep it up.

If I were to open a restaurant I would give it blind foldedly to Eric to run and operate. For I have never seen a more dedicated, loyal and honest restaurant professional than Eric in my 23 years in the hotel industry. Eric simply loves his job, hero worships his customers and will go to any lenghts to make their day extra special. He is constantly dreaming up and implementing innovative promotions and enticing special offers, that guests find it very difficult to refuse. At the same time he offers great value for money spent and makes sure that every single detail is attended to. In this year of financial slowdown the hotel outlet's food and beverage revenues are ahead of the year to date budget by 8% while the corresponding food and beverage costs are below the budgeted levels by 4%, resulting a higher net profit and a healthy cost profit percentage ratio. Just one more thing - Eric's man management skils are exemplary, and he leads his team from the front and by example. Having worked with Eric for the last 7 years I marvel at his energy levels and enthusiasm for the job and I strongly feel that he deserves the title of Restaurant Manager of the Year. I hope I will not be disappointed !

it's so unfair for me to comment bec im Manuel Agustin's sister but my real intention is to express to the whole world how proud we are in behalf of my family for my brother's endeavors and more to his achievements in life. He is always my big brother! the strength of our family. it has been 5 years away from here since work here in Saudi, leaving him that time still in Shangri-la Makati, Phil. i fully know how compassionate he is in every thing he indulged with, responsible and dedicated to his work that's why i don't doubt i will hear this news being a nominee. maybe the result is not yet finished but in my heart in my families heart... he is more than a winner. we came from a very poor family and even despite of lack of educational attainment , he were able to pull himself up and i thank him... if not bec of him, I being the 10th sibling of the family who were the only one to

I am proud and happy to learn that Eric has been shortlisted for the Restaurant Manager of The Year Award. Eric is extremely passionate about his job and loves to serve humanity from his heart. He has all the neccessary qualities of the perfect Restaurant Manager - tact, sharp business acumen, a charming and friendly personality, extremely focussed, flexibility, customer service oriented and the rare ability to forecast future business trends and take bold decisions. Under his stewardship the hotel's F&B outlets have been flourishing and every year's results are always abreast of the budgeted revenues. Eric is a great leader as well as a fantastic team man and he is able to motivate his staff to achieve the impossible. I am sure that Eric will bring home the trophy and I urge the respected judges of Caterer Middle East to give him the accolades he so richly deserves. May the best candidate win !

I have been Eric's General Manager in Dubai for eight long years and I can vouch for his integerity and commitment to his job. Extremely hard working and dedicated Eric is always trying to add new dimensions to his work ethics. If Eric goes on to win the title which he so richly deserves, I think it would be a fitting tribute to his contribution to the Middle East hotel industry.
