Can only comment that I'm waiting for the Kempinski supposed to open in Agadir since years to go there for a vacation but the place is still only a shell. Sofitel is a good alternative.

Kempinski Hotels in the Middle East? So far we've seen an ugly looking white concrete block up the road from Dubai, then a pretentious palace where the ample space is in the common areas rather than the guests rooms in Abu Dhabi, to be followed by an interesting "alpine resort" in a shopping mall in Dubai. What is the brand Kempinski trying to achieve? It will not be much by creating controversy about other properties who actually are opening on time or demonstrating through the media that the company seems to be disconnected from owners and their representatives, that is for sure. Just keep your head down, try to finish what you have started and good luck in convincing me you know what you are doing...
