This is nothing special; prostitution is almost in all City Hotels in Middle East and F-East. I have worked in Prague, in Management position, our GM was threatened if does not agree to the requested terms they would touch his little daughter, he had contacted head office, and had left within 5days the Country with his family. A new GM was sent immediately who took up the negotiations with the people (mafia). In the end we ended up to have 20 prostitutes who were permitted to be only in assigned restaurants and public areas. Further, we had to pay monthly the same amount of money to them. Of Couse they booked occasionally rooms for their business partners which were on complementary and not paid by them. So what do you want to do, run to the police, they threatened to attack the families of the foreign Managers. There is much more behind than only prostitution.

It's not like it doesn't happen here - there are prostitutes in a lot of hotels. You've got to wonder why the operators and police don't crack down on it...
