Excellent exhibition of professional knowledge! In addition to this I believe that fixed overhead analysis in relation to capacity utilization will be supportive for the decision making.

Nice stuff but not really new, we have been using RevPASH calculations to improve the performance of our outlets already back in 2002 and several professional hotel and restaurant companies today are using more efficient ways than just "average check" to measure their performance, e.g. revenue per square meter per hour, etc. I think it just needed some tougher times for our industry to force many F&B professionals to take a more serious approach to Revenue Management for their outlets. In my opinion it's about time that many managers life up to the title on their business card and do their homework. After all, these are the times that seperate the men from the boys...
