Roel truly deserves to win this award as he is a role model hotelier and I have been a regular guest in his previous hotel in Saudi Arabia for more than 4 years and I have seen his high level of professionalism and outstanding service oriented character.

Choosing the right person for the above awards must be chosen fairly which will affect the society positively from the winner to make a real improvements regarding the hospitality field. Moreover, I have been through the competitors achievement and from my perspectives I can see that Roel Acebedo who won the 'Employee of the year' could win the Unsung Hero of the Year because of his great achievements in a short time. Eventually, I wish him all the best in the competition of getting the above award which he definitely deserves it as he has experienced and served the hospitality itself in many luxury places. I first met Roel Acebedo while he was still attached to his former hotel in Saudi Arabia. His professionalism, genuine hospitality and outstanding efforts to make his guests comfortable, soon made this hotel the number one choice for the diplomatic community in the country. His achievements at Atlantis, the Palm, is none the less and very much deserved. Whenever my collegues, friends or myself are going to Dubai, there is only one option for lodging, with Roel. I wish him all the best in the competition for the Unsung Hero of the Year award as he is the most remarkeble professional in the hotel world that I have ever met.

I can honestly advise that Roel Acebedo deserved to win this award because I met him a couple of time during my stay at Hotel Atlantis The Palm and he made my family and me feeling welcome. He treated us always in a friendly way of manner and welcomed us with a smile after walking through a hot period of climate in Dubai! I am travelling a lot and I have visited numerous hotels but I have never experienced an ambitious but also happy person at the same time as I met Roel! I wish him all the best of getting the award because he is a truly friend!
