Zuma has promoted Refai Bin Othman to executive head chef to spearhead the brand’s Middle East expansion plans.
Othman has held a number of positions in the Far East, including a role as executive chef at One Porchester Group. His move to Zuma in 2009 signaled his return to the Middle East
Ajaz Sheikh, Zuma director of operations, Middle East, said of the appointment: “Reif’s creative expertise, drive to perfection and leadership have proved invaluable to both the ZUMA kitchen and the floor over the past year and has been instrumental in the awards that we’ve won.

“In his new role, Reif will drive many exciting initiatives that we will announce in the New Year. In addition, he will take a key role in driving forward our plans for regional expansion, and I am confident that under his leadership we will continue our success in the Middle East,” he added.
