Radisson Blu Hotel Kuwait has closed its rooms to undertake a major redevelopment project but will be broadcasting up to date details of its progress through a dedicated YouTube channel as well as other social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Linked-In.
The hotel, which celebrated its 30th Anniversary in December, will feature 194 rooms once completed with three new distinctive styles of decor: Naturally Cool, And Relax and NY Mansion House.
The Business Class Rooms on the third floor will offer guests additional features, such as exclusive access to the new glass-walled Sky Lounge, which will provide sweeping views over the Arabian Gulf.

The hotel will also offer 50 Business Class rooms, six Junior suites, 23 Executive suites, and one Presidential suite and there will also be a 360m² ballroom, with three adjacent chill-out rooms.
The hotel's current F&B and events facilities — including the Al Hashemi Grand Ballroom, six meeting rooms and restaurants Al Boom and Rangoli — as well as the health and recreation club will all remain fully operational throughout the renovation, which is scheduled for completion in 2012.
