The latest luxury hotel to open in Dubai, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, will be launching 10 F&B outlets over the next eight weeks.

Already open is all-day dining restaurant Imperium, a Parisian brasserie style restaurant with design inspired by the Ottoman Empire, in keeping with the rest of the hotel.

Two bars have also opened: Voda Bar and C Club, which offers cognacs, cigars and chocolates paired by an in-house sommelier.

Upcoming outlets include signature restaurant Lalezar offering Turkish cuisine, Voi, featuring Vietnamese cuisine with a French twist, and Amala, which will specialize in cuisine from the north of India.

General manager Stephan Schupbach said the key to success would be ensuring the concepts were authentic.

“If I look at the Turkish restaurant, we have Turkish nationals working in there, if I look at the Vietnamese French restaurant, we have Vietnamese colleagues and I think that’s where we can potentially set ourselves apart from some of the other hotels,” said Schupbach.

Zabeel Saray will also feature the second branch of Jumeirah’s Lebanese restaurant brand, Al Nafoorah, which currently operates at the Emirates Towers hotel.
