Food processing and packaging solutions company Tetra Pak unveiled its new drink opening DreamCap at the Gulfood Show, in partnership with Al Rabi, the first Tetra Pak customer in the world to adopt the new packaging.

Speaking at the preview, Jan Juul Larsen, Tetra Pal Aarabia managing director said: "We are delighted that the introduction of this innovative product to the world should be taking place here in partnership with Al Rabie.

"Al Rabie is demonstarting leadership in being the first in the world to try this," he added.

The DreamCap is part pf a trio of new caps, joining the LightCap - which is designed to keep plastic use and cost to a minimum - and the HeliCap - which combines one-step easy opening with distinctive tamper evidence - in TetraPak's new product launches.

Al Rabie Saudi Foods CEO Monther Al Harthi explained: " We are always looking at innovative products and packaging and we are trying to be different from the rest of the field."

Tetra Pak executive vice president marketing and product management Charleds Brand added: "Tetra Pak was built on innovation. No with the latest packaging we have a revolutionary product."
