Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has been appointed the operator for a luxury 287-room hotel and 4000m² convention centre within the Business Gate development in Riyadh.

Slated to open in late 2012, Fairmont Riyadh, Business Gate, will include a spa and fitness facilities as well as two 1500m² ballrooms in the convention centre.

It will be part of the new Business Gate mixed-use development project comprising the hotel, a convention centre and commercial real estate space that will house multinational corporations as well as regional companies.
