Chef John Sinjobi, Indego by Vineet walked away with the highly sought after Manager of the Year award at the annual Grosvenor Grammys this week.
The fifth annual awards were held to celebrate the hotel’s hard working associates and acknowledge their contribution over the past 12 months.
Pam Wilby, Complex General Manager of Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort and Spa commented: “The Grosvenor House Grammys are an opportunity for us all to come together and celebrate the support of our associates and to honour their achievements throughout 2010".

“Grosvenor House continues to retain its position as one of the World’s most acclaimed hotels and the Grammys recognise all of the tremendous work that has gone into helping us to achieve this status,” she added.
Hosted in Grosvenor House Dubai’s Windsor Ballroom, the awards were split in to 22 categories including Quality and Development, Outstanding Performance, Chef of the Year, and Manager of the Year.
Other winners included the Pastry Kitchen team who received the General Manager’s award of Recognition, for demonstrating consistently high standards. Shyam Lal Almei, Sloane’s was awarded the Chef of the Year award for his endless dedication to the restaurant, and the Outstanding Performance award went to Banquets.
