Six Senses Spa Zighy Bay in Oman wiped the floor at last week’s Middle East Spa Awards, winning five of the 10 accolades up for grabs.
At the awards ceremony during The Hotel Show, Six Senses won Best Destination Spa, Best Spa Design and Green Initiative.
Six Senses’ staff were also recognised, with Carolina Moquist named Spa Director of the Year and Vishnu Prasad scoring the Spa Therapist of the Year title.

Moquist said: “I am so proud and happy for my team who have been working very hard and deserve this recognition.
“We can not only use the Middle East Spa Awards to highlight the outstanding features of the Six Senses Spa at Zighy Bay, but also to thank all our staff for their efforts.”
In other top categories, The Spa at The Palace, The OId Town Best Hotel Spa was named Best Hotel Spa and the Dalouk Spa at Sharjah Ladies Club won the award for Best Independent Spa.
This was the second edition of the Middle East Spa Awards, organsied by dmg world media dubai and sponsored by Spasoft.
