Banyan Tree has appointed Stefan Buchs the new vice president, hotel operations — Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Buchs joins the deluxe resort and spa operator from CHI Hotels & Resorts, where he was vice president for the luxury Corinthia brand.
Based in London, Buchs is responsible for supervising all existing hotel operations and upcoming developments in EMEA as well as those in Seychelles and Mauritius.

He is also in charge of developing Banyan Tree’s EMEA portfolio.
