Hesham Abdalla  is now the cluster director of food and beverage of Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi, Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi Downtown and Kingsgate Abu Dhabi. Abdalla brings to the table more than 15 years’ experience.


In his new role the cluster director of food and beverage, Abdalla will also oversee all catering operations, including event planning and event execution at the three hotels, with, according to a press statement, include 11 award-winning dining and entertainment venues.

Hesham started his career in 5-star hotels in Egypt, including Iberotel Grand Sharm El Sheikh, Grand Rotana Resort and Spa Sharm El Sheikh and Crown Plaza Sharm El Sheikh before he arrived in the United Arab Emirates in 2009 as C&B manager at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi.

He then went on to hold the position of assistant food and beverage director at Southern Sun Abu Dhabi, before moving back to Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi as the food and beverage manager.
