Marsa Alam is emerging as a key leisure destination in Egypt. The 2001 opening of Marsa Alam Airport has seen tourism become increasingly important to this relatively unspoilt area.
Hamada Aboul Enein, chairman of Concord Co. for Tourist Development, the owner of the hotel, explains: “The Red Sea Riviera, and Marsa Alam in particular, is famous for its beaches, coral reef barriers and the abundance of marine life found in its waters. We’re proud of our region and extremely pleased that Hilton, Egypt’s most recognised hospitality brand, will now play a part in helping to promote Marsa Alam to a worldwide audience.”
