Contenders in the Middle East’s biggest F&B industry event — the Caterer Middle East Awards — have been shortlisted and will be revealed online daily in the lead-up to the Wednesday, September 7 ceremony at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on The Palm Jumeirah.


It’s the third-year running for the prestigious awards which recognise the stars and best outlets in the Middle East’s F&B sector, and interest has been huge with more than 400 nominations received.


As the process of short listing the nominees finally draws to a close, Hoteliermiddleeast.com can start to reveal the hotly-anticipated identities of those chosen to go head-to-head in the 13 categories. We begin with those competing for the titles of Bartender of the Year and Bar Manager of the Year.

The five thirsty-for-success contenders shortlisted for the Bartender of the Year Award are as follows:
