The Hotelier Middle East Power 50 2011 will be announced online from Sunday 11 September, but first, here is a look at five industry professionals recognised in Hotelier Middle East's Power 50 2010 who didn't make this year's ranking as a result of new entrants edging them out...
The Hotelier Middle East Power 50 is a celebration of the highest achievers and most influential people working in the Middle East hospitality industry. This is the third edition of the Hotelier Middle East Power 50 and, as before, it has been compiled following the recommendations of hoteliers working in the industry and expert consultants, coupled with the industry knowledge acquired by the ITP Business team responsible for Hotelier Middle East over the past nine years.
There is significant movement in this edition, with the addition of 20 new entrants. This year, the list has been refocused to include, as far as possible, those senior executives pysically based in the Middle East. As before the list does not include members of the royal families, although their visionary contributions are acknowledged.
