Dubai's Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel has joined the select club of UAE hotels with a five-star rating.  

The 390-room property is the latest of 80 hotels in the city to receive the certifaction, awarded by the Dubai Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM).

Scott Butcher, general manager of the Park Regis Kris Kin, underlined the point that five-star hotels offer the highest level of service in the industry.

"Hotel rankings are awarded by DTCM according to the facilities, scale, service quality and management," he said. "The process for accreditation is very precise and consistent and uses the same criteria for all hotels. Five-star hotels offer the highest level of accommodation and personal services."
