The Four Seasons Hotel Doha has completed the first phase of its US $10 million renovation project and unveiled a total of 222 new-look rooms and suites.

All rooms and suites received a complete refreshment of upholstery, soft furnishings such as curtains, carpets and cushions as well as upgrades to room accessories, furniture and light fixtures

Commenting on the refurbishment, regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Doha Simon Casson said: "Constantly upgrading the guest experience is our focus at Four Seasons. Our years in the Qatari capital have enabled us to learn and anticipate what it is our guests want and these observations have guided our decisions during our latest renovation project.

“The new rooms and suites are just one element that demonstrates our commitment to adapting to the market’s maturing hospitality scene in the run up to the World Cup. We want to set the bar in terms of what guests can expect from hotels in Doha and our renovated rooms reflect this intention,” Casson added.

The guest accommodation upgrade will be followed by the opening of an all-new Southeast Asian-inspired signature restaurant, Nusantao: Sea Kitchens, which will replace the Brasserie on the Beach restaurant.

The hotel expects to launch a second phase of refurbishments in 2012, covering the soft renovations of its Gulf, State, West Bay and Royal Suites.
