Kuwait's Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida’a has become the first five-star property in the region to receive the prestigious Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HAACP) certification.

The hotel describes HACCP as taking a "preventive" approach to food safety, including physical, chemical, and biological hazards identification. The HACCP certification and inspection process takes up to a year to complete.

Ramzi Shaban, executive assistant manager commented on the certificate: “I am very proud of my team and all the efforts that have been put into obtaining this accreditation. By obtaining the HACCP certificate, Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida’a reinforces its commitment to provide its guests with the ultimate dining experience in a safe and healthy environment.”
