Dubai-based Jumeirah Group has signed a management agreement with PT Asia Pasifik Properti to operate a luxury resort in Bali, Indonesia, which is expected to open in 2015.

Jumeirah Bali is located in the exclusive Jimbaran District and is adjacent to the exclusive New Kuta Golf Course. The resort, to be modelled after an ancient Javanese-Hindu water place, will contain 80 suites and 25 private villas. It will also include three restaurants , its signature Talise spa, business centre and an exclusive cliff-top wedding venue.

At the deal signing ceremony, PR Asia Pasifik Properti CEO Sukowati Sosrodjojo said: “Jumeirah sets a new standard of luxury hotels and resorts that reaches far beyond the industry. From its superb service and personalised attention towards its guests to the unique blends of architectural concepts and designs, Jumeirah has raised the bar of luxury travel and living.”

Executive chairman of Jumeirah Group Gerald Lawless said: “We are delighted to bring the Jumeirah Stay Different™ experience to Bali. Our guests will enjoy the exclusive and pristine beachfront location as well as the traditional Balinese ambiance of the resort. This reaffirms our commitment to celebrating the cultural uniqueness of every destination, while offering our award winning service in the most luxurious settings.”

Jumeirah currently only has one Asian property – Jumeirah Himalayas in Shanghai – but another five are under development in China and one in Thailand.
