With the 407-room Crowne Plaza IMPZ Dubai opening in 2014, IHG’s VP operations – Gulf Ignace Bauwens, VP Operations highlighted room for growth in the meetings and conference market, adding that the number and scale of new hotels would benefit Dubai’s international status as a hotel hub.


“The size and scale of these facilities would reinforce, and enhance, Dubai’s position, helping the emirate to compete for business alongside the more established MICE destinations such as New York, London and Las Vegas.
