Media One Hotel, in Dubai, has introduced a new category of room designed for the business traveller.
The HIP BIZ rooms come with a buffet breakfast, free cocktails in Z:ONE, access to the hotel’s business centre, which offers computer and printing facilities, and a stationary box in each room.
The local corporate sector makes up 65% of its room guests, and this move is a result of market research and comments and suggestions from regular guests, Media One said in a statement.
Hitesh Mayor, director of sales and marketing, said: “Here at Media One we regularly review our clients’ needs to ensure we are building business from the business traveller. We expect to maximize occupancy of the new HIP BIZ category due to the premium benefits we are offering. There are many road warriors expected in 2012 and we aim to remain busy with this segment.”
