Moevenpick Hotel and Apartments Bur Dubai has launched a new initiative to help diners get in shape and strengthen their core muscles.

Food for Life is a new series of dishes included in the hotel’s breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets which will help build muscle, improve digestion and increase metabolism, according to the hotel.

The range of ‘Fat Burners’ on the Food for Life menu includes balsamic-glazed chicken breast, salmon en papilotte, chermoula spiced fish and uki udon.

The concept was introduced after general manager Robert Barker was told to strengthen his core muscles through healthy eating to improve his golf swing.

Chef Sameer said: "Our fat burner meals include ingredients that burn fat and increase metabolism of the body."
