The Address Dubai Marina has introduced add-on activities for its meeting-room customers.

As well as its Wii breaks, the hotel will now offer pastry and cooking lessons, breaks to create a piece of art, a work-out with a personal trainer before the meeting or a black box concept, where customers are challenged to create a meal with an unseen set of ingredients.

The activities are offered before meetings and can be carried out either before, during or after the business meetings.

Antony Treston, general manager at The Address Dubai Marina, said that the growth of the business and MICE sector in Dubai means that meeting facility bookings are increasing, and that the hotel facilities need to support this by being “continuously added and upgraded”.

Treston added: “We wanted to add a creative touch to meetings by promoting the interests of the participants and encouraging team work.”
