Caterer can exclusively reveal the opening date of two upcoming, high-profile Dubai restaurants - Wheelers and the new Trader Vic's - after a chance encounter with two RMAL Hospitality managers at Gulfood.
Alessio Ruffoni, general manager of Marco Pierre White’s Frankie’s and Simon Penhaligan, director of restaurant operations at RMAL Hospitality, were spotted buying oversized martini glasses at Libby’s stand for a new cocktail at Frankie’s JBR Dubai, that will be served from this coming Saturday.
“Bring your boyfriend or girlfriend and come down to Frankie’s to share,” said Ruffoni.

At the same time Caterer managed to get out of them the opening date for Marco Pierre White’s new restaurant in DIFC, Wheelers: August 1, 2012. They also gave away the date for the new Dubai Trader Vic’s: June 1, 2012.
