Hilton Worldwide has launched a website inviting outlet concept ideas from restaurateurs in line with an initiative to open 500 new restaurants in three years.

The website (www.hiltonrestaurantconcepts.com) has been internal-only until now, with 900 hotel owners registering, and more than 700 visits being made from 44 countries.

Now, the website has opened to external users to help match concepts with appropriate hotels. Users will upload information about their concept, such as menus, design and pricing. If approved, it will then be online for hotel owners to review and match with hotels.

Beth Scott, vice president, food and beverage concepts, Hilton Worldwide, said: “Our goal is to provide our hotels with great concepts that are unique to their regions and offer menu options that will appeal to their repeat customer base. It’s also a great opportunity for restaurateurs interested in growing their brand.”

So far, it has been responsible for the partnering of Washington Hilton with Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, as well as Hilton McLean with Härth.
