Accor has announced that all three of its Makkah hotels now have only Saudi nationals working on their front desks.
This follows the targets set by the company in June 2011 for 80% Saudisation in the KSA, with 1400 nationals being recruited by summer 2016.
Christophe Landais, Accor Middle East managing director, said: “I can say that all Accor hotels [in Makkah] are on the green label with regards to the Nitaqat programme.
“For other destinations, slowly but surely, Saudisation is taking place. We are confident to reach the ambitious target we set ourselves,” he added
