The Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Downtown has appointed Khamis Kazzaz as its new general manager, while Rob Collier has taken on the GM role at the Radisson Blu Residence Dubai Marina.
Kazzaz first joined Rezidor as the director of sales at the Middle East regional office in Dubai and played an important part in the development of the Radisson SAS brand. He then moved to Oman in the same role for Radisson Blu Hotel Muscat, before being promoted to executive assistant manager.
The Jordinian national, who has 20 years’ experience in hospitality, then took up the same position at the Radisson Blu Tala Bay Resort in Aqaba, Jordan. He was most recently general manager at the Radisson Blu Residence Dubai Marina, where he is being replaced by Collier.

Collier has 13 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and worked for Marriott in Manchester, UK. In his hometown he went on to hold several F&B and events roles, but in 2007 became director of operations for the Renaissance Hotel, Manchester City Centre.
He joined Rezidor in 2010 as general manager of the Radisson Blu Airport Hotel in Manchester and will now take charge of the Dubai Marina property.
