Mövenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh Naama Bay has opened on April 8 following an extensive refurbishment, marking the hotel chain’s return to the resort destination of Sharm El Sheikh on the Egyptian Red Sea coastline.

The Naama Bay resort, formerly operated by Sofitel, has an elevated structure providing all 298 rooms with a panoramic view of the bay and five private beaches.

“We are exited to be back in this highly-popular resort destination” said Adel Bibars, general manager, Mövenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh Naama Bay.

“This resort is ideal for guests seeking relaxation as well as the more active guests looking for sports or the bustling nightlife of Sharm El Sheikh” added Adel.

Mövenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh Naama Bay also features four Arabian-style private villas ranging from three-to-four bedrooms all with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room and an outdoor terrace with an infinity swimming pool overlooking Naama Bay.

The resort has nine different restaurant and bars including the Indian restaurant Rangoli and an all-day dining option called Liwa.

A variety of sports and recreational facilities are offered with diving and snorkelling available through the resort’s dedicated diving centre. It is also equipped with four floodlit tennis courts, a fitness centre and a health club with sauna, Jacuzzi, massage rooms and Hammam.
