The Ramee Group of Hotels will open its first five-star property in Q3, 2012 in Seef, Bahrain.
The group said in a statement released today (April 29) that the 166-key, 28-storey Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa would be Bahrain’s tallest hotel, standing at 115m tall, including three basements.
The hotel features seven F&B outlets, 800sq m of ballroom and meetings space, a designated floor for spa and recreation including a fitness centre, a ladies’ salon and a temperature-controlled infinity pool.

Chairman and managing worker VM Shetty commented: “Our presence in the UAE, Oman and India simplifies our job in attracting family tourists as well as MICE travellers to Bahrain.
“Our great success and presence in the kingdom, places us at an advantage with regards to our competitors. The kingdom’s strategic location as a midway point between Europe and Asia gives us the advantage of procuring the two powerhouses of the Asian market; India and China, huge exporters of business and leisure travellers, he added.
The group currently operates 37 properties in the budget segment across the UAE, Bahrain, India and Oman.
“The next Ramee Grand Hotel & Spa is on the drawing board for Dubai’s much sought-after Business Bay district, together with another project in Abu Dhabi’s Reem Island,” the group revealed in the statement.
