India-based Raviz International Hotel Management Co is expected to open its second hotel in Dubai “before Ramadan”, which is due to start on July 19.
The opening of the 126-key hotel on Bank Street in Bur Dubai will mark the debut of the firm’s upper-scale Raviz brand in the UAE.
Raviz International Hotel Management Co, which is the hospitality arm of RP Group of Companies, currently operates one other property in Dubai, the Versailles Hotel in Deira, which it acquired and refurbished increasing the rating from two stars to three stars.

The five-star Raviz brand was first launched with the acquisition of the Kadavu Beach Resort and Ayurveda Center in Calicut.
The new Bur Dubai hotel will feature two restaurants, two night clubs, two confereance halls and a business centre.
Manoj Padhi has been appointed general manager of the new hotel, he is currently managing the group’s Versaille Hotel.
“We have signed up with Utell Hotels Worldwide - a division of Pegasus - to market both our properties in Dubai,” Padhi told Hotelier Middle East.
