The Waldorf Astoria's first hotel property in the UAE is slated to open in the first quarter of 2013, it was announced on Monday.
Waldorf Astoria, Ras Al Khaimah will be part of Al Hamra Village and will offer 349 luxurious rooms, access to a 600m private beach, three outdoor swimming pools, and a choice of eight restaurants and lounges.
The hotel is being developed by Al Hamra Group and will be managed by Hilton Worldwide, the luxury brand of the global hotel group.

Each Waldorf Astoria property promises to offer an experience as good as the brand's namesake, The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York.
Al Hamra Village, the master planned development, covers an area of 2.5 million sq m and includes 1.5km of beaches, 1000 villas and townhouses, 2500 residential apartments, two hotels, three resorts, an 18 hole golf course, clubhouse, a marina and a shopping mall.
