Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel has appointed M. Sandeep Kumar as its new business development manager – corporate.
The Indian national joins the property with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, after having gained a bachelor degree in business administration, a master’s degree in hospitality management and an international diploma in hospitality management from the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
Scott Butcher, general manager at Park Regis Kris Kin, said: “We welcome Sandeep to the hotel and are confident that his experience in the key business sector will increase sales through our local corporate partners as well as in international markets.”
He added: “While we have enjoyed an exceptional first quarter, we know in the Dubai market that new hotels are always aiming to take a share of the market and we have to remain front of mind for both business and leisure clients.”
Kumar began his career in Chennai at the Accord Metropolitan as business development executive, before moving to the Marriott Courtyard.
His first job in the Gulf was as sales executive at Le Meridien Jeddah, but moved within the Starwood group to the Sheraton Khalidiyah in Abu Dhabi,, from where he moves.
