The Oetker Collection has appointed Rami Al-Jabari as its new regional director of sales for the Middle East and Africa.
Al-Jabari joins the company with more than 17 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, after graduating in food and beverage management from Hotel Training College in Amman.
He began his career with Marriott International, joining the company in 1995 at its Amman hotel and moving through the ranks in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. His last position was as general manager of Marriott Global Sales Organisation for the Gulf countries and Jordan.
In his new positon, Al-Jabari will oversee the sales of Palais Namaskar in Marrakech, as well as the pre-opening sales for Le Bristol Abu Dhabi, scheduled to open next year.
