Dusit Thani Dubai has employed four new UAE nationals, joining the three already working at the hotel.
The new recruits are spread across the hotel, in the sales, marketing and finance departments, as well as in the kitchen. The move is part of the property’s Investor in People (IIP) programme, in partnership with Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), called the Sawasdee programme.
Diana Jan has been welcomed as an account specialist, Saif Matar Abdullah Saif as UAE national chef and Maryam Khalifa and Sheikha Saeed Salmeen as events sales executives.
Mike Audrain, director of human resources, said: “We are delighted to welcome our latest UAE nationals that have joined Dusit Thani Dubai. We are very passionate about our UAE National Development programme and look forward to helping our new colleagues to develop in to future leaders in hospitality.

“This is part of our ongoing commitment and support of growing and developing future leaders for Dubai and the UAE.”
Sheikha Saeed Salmeen added: “Working in the hospitality industry has always tempted me, especially five-star hotels. What attracted me to be a member of this respectful organization was the management team. They and the rest of the colleagues at Dusit Thani Dubai are very supportive, helpful and cooperative.”
