Bagno Design, subsidiary of Dubai-based Sanipex Group, has opened its first showroom in London as it seeks to introduce its luxury bathroom brand to partners in the UK market.
The 4200ft² Architectural & Design (A & D) Centre in Clerkenwell aims to provide a toolkit for architects, designers and other professional specifiers.
The concept, which was also launched in Qatar back in May, includes work stations and meeting tables for designers to meet with their clients, a complimentary drinks and coffee bar, a mock-up room for trialing hotel bathroom schemes and a conference room with a large, wall-mounted screen for presentations and ‘Skyping’ overseas project team members.

As well as products from Bagno Design’s own range, there are complementary products from a selection of hand-picked strategic partners displayed over two floors.
Group managing director Daryl Barker said of the launch: “Part of our global strategy is to be the project supplier of choice within Europe for bathroom fixtures and fittings, tiles and plumbing materials and the Clerkenwell A & D Centre will play a vital role in helping us to achieve this.
“London is increasingly seen as a hub for international hospitality projects and, with Clerkenwell home to over 2000 international architectural practices, it is here that many of the specifications are decided.”
Sanipex was established in Dubai in 1994 as a Middle East representiative for a handful of European manufacturers and now conducts business in 30 countries across four continents.
It represents 50 brands including its own Bagno Design and Aquazone lines.
