Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement to open Hilton Garden Inn Tabuk in Q4 2013.

The company signed the deal with owners Adex Contracting Maintenance & Operations for the 110-room hotel in Saudi Arabia, which will be the second Hilton Garden Inn branded hotel in the Middle East, the other being in Riyadh.

Hilton Garden Inn Tabuk will include 10 suites, as well as an all-day dining restaurant, fitness centre and lobby lounge. It will also feature a business centre with a boardroom and two meeting rooms.

"KSA presents promising development opportunities for us. Today's signing is key as we enter another new Saudi city and embed our expansion strategy to provide quality services and products to the market. As Tabuk's prominence as a commercial centre grows, we are inspired to grow with it," said Hilton Worldwide, Middle East & Africa president, Rudi Jagersbacher.

"Hilton Garden Inn has had great success and has been well received in the KSA market since opening the Hilton Garden Inn in Riyadh in 2009. Our award-winning combination of quality hospitality and innovation at this price point has proven very successful,” said Hilton Garden Inn global head Adrian Kurre.

“I'm delighted we can continue serving this market and am confident this new hotel will be a popular choice for the local community, as well as business and leisure visitors to Tabuk,” he added.

Hilton Worldwide now has 15 hotels pipelined for Saudi Arabia, on top of its six operating properties, adding a combined 9,300 rooms.
