Abdul Latif Jameel Real Estate Investment Co (ALJREIC), the developer of the Jabal Al Kaaba project in Makkah containing a new 1743-bedroom hotel, has said that it is looking to hire more than 1000 staff ahead of the property's opening in the second quarter of 2013.

The firm said it was looking to prioritise roles for Saudis - in line with Ministry of Labour guidelines. It is also seeking Muslim candidates from other countries.

The company is looking for front office, maintenance, engineering, housekeeping, procurement, sales & marketing and food & beverage staff.
