Accor Middle East has launched its economy Ibis hotel brand in Saudi Arabia with the opening of Ibis Riyadh Olaya Street.
Located in the centre of Riyadh’s business district, the hotel is the first of a number of Ibis hotels planned for Saudi Arabia, according to Accor.

“With the launch of the new ibis Riyadh Olaya Street, we are continuing to break new ground in Riyadh’s hospitality industry by offering the first economy lodging hotel with international standards,” said Accor Middle East managing director Christophe Landais.
The group currently has three Ibis hotels in the pipeline for Saudi Arabia - in Jeddah, Al Khobar and Yanbu. It also has Ibis properties planned in Fujairah and Manama.
Accor currently operates 11 ibis hotels in the region comprising 2673 rooms.
