Accor is continuing the expansion of its economy hotel brand in KSA with the opening of the Ibis Yanbu slated for Q2, 2013.

The hotel will become Accor’s second Ibis hotel in Saudi Arabia, after Ibis Riyadh which opened in December 2012.

Furthermore, Ibis Al Khobar and Ibis Jeddah are due to open in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

The Ibis Yanbu will consist of 196 rooms, an all-day-dining restaurant and coffee lounge, three meeting rooms and an outdoor swimming pool.

Accor stated its confidence in Yanbu’s potential to attract business and leisure guests, with its location on the Red Sea, proximity to Jeddah and its recently-modernised domestic airport.

There are currently 11 operational Ibis hotels in the Middle East representing more than 2600 rooms
